Assisted Living

Q. Do I have to sign a lease?
A. Lutheran Crossings requires that each Assisted Living resident sign an Admissions Agreement.  The agreement is a legally binding contract that outlines the conditions of becoming a resident of our Assisted Living community.

Q. May I bring my own furnishings to Lutheran Crossings’ Assisted Living?
A. Of course. We believe that the best way to make your apartment feel like home is to fill it with items that are an extension of family, friends and fond memories.

Q. How do you accommodate those living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia to keep them safe?
A. Our Assisted Living residence has a dedicated neighborhood with a keypad entry and exit system for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Only those with the entry code (or an employee badge) may enter or exit the neighborhood. This system helps protect residents with dementia or memory deficit from wandering into unfamiliar areas.

Q. Can I bring my dog or cat to live with me?
A. Lutheran Crossings is a pet-friendly community, and we invite residents to bring their cat or small dog as a live-in companion. Because we know that pets promote physical, emotional and social well-being, we also offer pet therapy sessions as part of our activities program. Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Care

Q. What are the visiting hours?
A. Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown welcomes visitors between 10 am and 8 pm daily. If you should need to extend or shift your visiting time, please let us know and we will be happy to make accommodations.

Q. Are meals provided? If so, how many times per day?
A. Yes, patients and residents receive breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Meals are served in the community’s dining areas, located within each care neighborhood. Patients and residents may request to have their meal delivered to their room or they may choose to eat in our Bistro or our Private Dining Room.

Q. How do we pay for care at Lutheran Crossings?
A. Lutheran Crossings accepts private pay, a variety of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare and Medicaid. Our team will help you determine which source or sources of payment are best for you or your loved one. For more information about insurance and other payment options, please call (856) 813-5018.

Q. Is therapy available 7 days a week?
A. Most rehabilitative services are provided on a regular schedule, Monday – Friday. Dependent upon our patients’ plan of care for treatment, our rehabilitative services are available 7 days a week.

 Q. How many hours of therapy a day do rehabilitation patients receive?
A. Each patient’s needs and tolerance levels are different. Our team of rehabilitation therapists works alongside your physician to provide recommendations. On average, short-term patients receive approximately one and a half hours of therapy a day. They may receive up to three hours. ** “each patient is evaluated upon arrival to determine exactly how many therapy hours they receive per day depending upon needs, tolerance and insurance allowances.”
