We’re part of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey.
Since 1947, Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown has been part of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSMNJ), a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to serving people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. Responding to the ever-changing needs of New Jersey residents, Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ provides a broad range of programs and services. At 20 locations across our state, LSMNJ annually makes a difference in the lives of more than 8,300 individuals.
Our partnership with individuals, corporations, and congregations through volunteer activities, gifts-in-kind, and financial contributions, helps Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey to continue our work of reaching out to those who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices. By partnering with our mission, you’re helping us provide enhanced programs to those we serve.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and in response to God’s love as revealed in the Gospel, the mission of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is to serve those in New Jersey who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices.
Giving and receiving help.
Residents of Lutheran Crossings are considered part of the statewide LSMNJ family, which means that each resident has the opportunity to help and be helped by LSMNJ. While earnings from Lutheran Crossings are reinvested back into the community and its operations, some funds may also be used to support LSMNJ’s social services. Through these programs, residents help those who are hungry or needing a place to call home. On the other hand, through grant funding along with donations from partner groups, churches and the community, LSMNJ helps support building enhancements at Lutheran Crossings and also provides occasional assistance for those residents with diminished resources.
