Volunteer Services

Throughout the year, volunteers from local congregations, organizations and the community give their time to enhance the quality of life for our residents. We have several volunteers that come to entertain our residents, socialize with them, or take them for walks in the garden.

Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown volunteers help our residents in a variety of different ways. If you have a skill or can offer your help in a different manner, please let our Director of Community Life know. Here are some of the ways you can help:

  • Volunteers to visit with residents
  • Volunteers to assist with feeding residents – Any day: Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner (we provide necessary training)
  • Read to a resident/ Visit for chats
  • Organize the library and take a book cart room to room with books
  • Someone to deliver the mail & newspapers
  • Lead an art class or an activity
  • Play a musical instrument as entertainment
  • Assist with transporting residents within the facility
  • Van Driver

To become a Lutheran Crossings volunteer, contact the Director of Community Life by calling (856) 813-5805.
