Support Us

By definition, benevolence is an act of kindness; a charitable gift.

There are many ways members of our community can provide their gift of time and talents or financial contributions to Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living at Moorestown. By serving on the Ladies’ Auxiliary, volunteering in our senior care community, or by making an outright donation, we can continue to offer socially engaging programs, a variety of services, and charity care assistance to help enrich the lives of our residents.

Ways to Donate

Our commitment to charity care and benevolence is profound. Each year, we strive to raise money to support residents in our assisted living and skilled nursing units. The continuing cuts in Medicaid, increased costs of providing quality healthcare, and other circumstances persist in driving up the deficits of uncompensated care. As a non-profit organization, Lutheran Crossings must make up the difference between Medicaid reimbursements and the actual cost of providing the care for nearly half of our skilled nursing residents.

Outright Gifts

By contributing to Lutheran Crossings’ Good Samaritan Fund, you are personally touching the lives of many of our residents who are faced with financial hardship.  We hope you will consider making a financial contribution to the Good Samaritan Fund, as the value of your support goes far beyond its financial worth.  Your tax deductible contribution will help us continue our mission of providing compassionate, quality care to those in need.

Gifts by cash, check or credit card are the easiest and most direct way to benefit Lutheran Crossings and are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Gifts may be designated specifically to Lutheran Crossings to directly benefit its residents.

Charitable Bequests

Bequests are the simplest way to make a planned gift to Lutheran Crossings. There are many ways to include a bequest in your will. These include:

  • Bequeathing a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate.
  • Indicating which assets (such as stock, life insurance, etc.) will be gifted.
  • Designating that the “remainder” of your estate (after expenses, bequests to family members, etc.) will go to Lutheran Crossings.

Endowed Fund

Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey Foundation’s major-gift program lets you create an endowed fund to support Lutheran Crossings. Learn more about establishing an Endowed Fund by contacting the LSMNJ Foundation at 609-699-4115.

Honor & Memorial Gifts

You can honor or remember a loved one who resided at Lutheran Crossings by making a tribute gift in their name and designating the gift specifically to Lutheran Crossings. If you are looking for a way to celebrate or acknowledge a special occasion or event – a birth or milestone birthday, anniversary or other celebration, you can make a donation in their name. This is also a great way to honor a specific employee or staff members at Lutheran Crossings, who provided compassion while caring for your loved one.

Annual Brick Appeal

It is an enduring way to memorialize a loved one, or to honor an important milestone for someone special in your life. Money raised through our annual brick appeal is placed into the Good Samaritan Fund, which provides much needed assistance to residents at Lutheran Crossings.

You can support this appeal by purchasing an engraved brick to be displayed in our brick pathway, located along the perimeter of the koi pond and along the entrance of our residence. To purchase a brick, please complete the Memorial Brick Order Form. For more information, please contact the LSMNJ Foundation at (609) 699-4115.

Matching Gifts Programs

This is a great way to double your gift. Many corporations offer a Matching Gifts Program to current and retired employees. For more information or to obtain the proper forms, contact your organization’s Human Resources or Community Involvement Department.

Naming Opportunities

Throughout our community, many naming opportunities exist to satisfy a wide range of donor interests for gifts both large and small. Contact the LSMNJ Foundation at (609) 699-4115 to discuss options.
