“I am inspired by our residents each and every day. Our centenarians have been gifted with a long, well-lived life and I wanted to celebrate them as well as the important things in life like hope, love and memories,” said McDowell.
The guests of honor included: Carl Wilfrid, 100, Ann Kassekert, 99, Madeline Malerba, 100, Alfreda Tarka, 100, Beatrice Watson, 101 and Estella White, 105.
The event included entertainment from a bagpiper, an appearance from the town crier who shared historical facts about Moorestown, as well as refreshments. The party took place in the community’s newly renovated Cultural Arts Center.
